The Boston Modern Big Band was founded in 2024 by a group of talented and experienced musicians from the Boston area with a variety of musical and professional backgrounds. We are dedicated to presenting fun and lively performances of the broad range of music that big band jazz has to offer, ranging from classic swing music to contemporary hits.

We are proud to call the Church of the Good Shepherd (9 Russell Avenue, Watertown, MA) our home for regular performances.
